Monday Inspiration by Beatrice: Bucket List Collection

June 11, 2018

Happy Monday. I’m writing on the blog today bringing you some creative ideas based on layouts using SnickerdoodleDesigns’ new release, Bucket List Collection.  This Collection is currently available only at The Digichick but watch for it to come to the SnickerdoodleDesigns’ personal store soon. (EDIT: Now also available at SnickerdoodleDesigns.) Bucket List is part of the Hatchery where each pack can be mixed and matched with packs from other designers built around the same palette. Each pack is only $2, or you can pick up the Collection at even greater savings. I especially like the themed elements in this Collection like the journal cards, the globe and the buckets; but there are lots of flowers, leaves, and butterflies perfect for your everyday scrapping. This Collection arrives just in time for your summer bucket list. I hope you have one and are ready to begin crossing things off.

I really like the torn map and the way it’s rotated and tucked in Bucket List by cutiejo 1. The L-shaped cluster is gorgeous and realistically shadowed. The heart balloons add a touch of whimsy. I like the journaling she added to the chalk board, listing her desired destinations. The clipped journal card finishes the layout off just right.

The paper and elements chosen by Glori are perfect for the adorable photo. The blended background paper is actually included in the collection. The elements combined with the word art by Angel Jet create a three-sided frame for the photo. The way she recolored the word art to match the paper and photo is delightful. Keeping her cluster small allows the background paper to shine.

I really like the large blended photo in this layout by Scraptious. The three-photo filmstrip frame contrasts so well with the blend. I like the small corner cluster opposite the brushwork and the additional brush work she added to the blended kit paper. This layout design is outstanding.

The orange paper berries Deanna used in her layout are one of my favorite elements in the kit. I enjoyed reading her story about the many flowers in her garden and how there is always room for one more. The little firefly peeking out and included in her title work is so cute. She also used a free template by Aimee Harrison.

This travel layout by Kay is so special. I like the way she stacked the filmstrip frame to enclose her amazing photos. Like Deanna, she cleverly enlarged the sign to serve as her page sub-title. Her vertical clusters work with the horizontal photos to help the eye explore the entire page. I like the way she used the chalk board and added the text for her main title.

I just spotted one more layout that would be perfect for framing. It’s by Megan and showcases a list of things she has planned for the summer. Her title work is brilliant and I really like the ruler placed along the side almost like a countdown. The varied font sizes add interest to the page.

I’ve come to the end of my post and I hope you are ready to scrap your own bucket list. If you don’t have one you should! Thanks for letting me share and have a great week.
