Monday Inspiration by Beatrice: Droplet Template Collection

November 7, 2016

Hi everyone! Beatrice here, back on the blog and very excited to inspire you today. I love templates, especially grid style, and SnickerdoodleDesigns’ new Droplet Collection fits the bill. Further there is a newly added feature, Drag and Drop, in Photoshop Elements 15. Karen has provided a great tutorial on this feature and how to use her new collection in her blog post here. She has done a thorough job and even included a video and explained that these templates can be used in full Photoshop as well as earlier versions of Photoshop Elements.  I’ve linked the collection below, but the sets are also available separately. The Droplet Templates are available at a special price at:

I’m happy to say that my job is simply to show you some of the amazing layouts created with this new collection.

If scrapping is about showing off gorgeous photos, this layout, Enjoy Every Sunset by Jenni, is a perfect example. I actually gasped when this layout came across my Facebook feed, and I’m excited to show it to you here. All that’s needed is one small cluster, and a bit of word art, from Snickerdoodle Designs’ Harvest Sunset Collection, to complete this beautiful page.

More delightful photos are found in Apple Hill Day by Chrissy C. She used a collection from Vero – The French Touch. The layout is definitely photo focused, and again only a small cluster, journal card and bit of journaling are needed to finish it off.

The ombre background is perfect for Chihuly Garden and Glass by 6Grand. I love the way she used the photo as her title work and mimicked the look of her background with the journal card. She also used Harvest Sunset for her few embellishments.

I really like the way Kabra used the word art from Painted Autumn Collection in her layout, Autumn. The cluster of hand-drawn elements and cute little scarecrow support her theme and are the only needed additions to her layout.

I love the way the banner underlines the title in Sidewalk Chalk by Rochelle86. She used the Chalk It Up Collection. The smattering of butterflies and flowers atop the darling photos is just right and in no way overwhelms her photos.

Would you like to try a sample template? Karen has generously provided one at the end of her tutorial here. (Or you can click the image below to download it from this post!) I downloaded it and can’t wait to give it a whirl. I hope I have inspired you to try these templates yourself. I look forward to seeing your pages. Thanks and have a great week.
