Monday Inspiration by Beatrice: I’ll Be Home for Christmas part 2

Good morning, Beatrice here! I’m thrilled to be back on the blog and hope to start your week off right with some inspiration via some additional layouts created with SnickerdoodleDesigns’ latest collection, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”.

The Road Home for Christmas by Shauna is a lovely white space layout. It caught my eye in the gallery immediately and serves to remind me that it’s not always necessary to “pile it on” to achieve a gorgeous piece of art. The photo is so pretty and the frame coordinates perfectly. The single cluster and sequin scatter embellish her design in just the right way. Tucking the journal card behind the photo is a great touch, as is the text border and hanging lamp. This layout is one of my favorites with the collection.

The stacked papers in Joy by Bright Eyes create the perfect backdrop for the delightful photo of Santa. I really like the way she used the letter “O” in the word Joy to frame the photo of the child. Weaving the string in and out of the tucked greenery frames the photo perfectly, and all the parts add up to a pretty, yet whimsical layout.

I love this sweet photo in Trim the Tree by KabraThe silver frame complements it perfectly. I really like the way the stacked papers create a frame around the entire layout. The large clusters perfectly balance one another, and the doilies tucked behind the photo add a delicate, lacy touch.

I love the stacked photos in Christmas by Scraptious. She used a template by Kimeric Kreations. The perspective on the photo is very eye-catching. I love the small cluster in the corner and the large holly opposite. I also like the way she added the bit of text to the background for interest. Tucking the string and the large snowflake behind, while adding the script title on top, makes for a well-balanced design.

My final pick is Gabby by Poki04. She used a template by La Belle Vie Designs. I love the monochromatic look she achieved by using the gray, glittered paper and adding just a few pops of red. I really like the way she stacked and angled the frames around her darling photo. Repeating the bird house in triangular formation is very effective. Adding her title letters on the small tabs and placing the date in the corner finish the layout off just right.
