Photo Tip for the Market Place
Last week I shared an article on Photo Tips for Food Photography when Traveling. Many of you responded to that post, saying that you enjoy taking photos of your meals when you are traveling, like I do.
Another thing I enjoy taking pictures of when we travel is the market places that we visit. Seeing the “locals” in their day-to-day activities can give you great insight into their customs and habits. Here is another article, I am your will find useful: 7 Tips to Help you Take Better Photos of Markets. I especially like Tip #5 and will have to try that next time we travel!
In the meantime, here are 2 of my favorites.
The first I took at a local peddlers market in Quito, Ecuador.
This picture was taken at the local fisherman’s wharf in the Galapagos Islands. These lobster hadn’t been out of the water more than 5 minutes. They really are so colorful! Have to admit though, I was wondering if this creature would be on my plate at dinner that night.
