Photographing Animals

April 12, 2016

There is a new addition, African Adventure,  at the Fresno zoo, which is only about 30 minutes from us. We are looking forward to visiting there soon, so it was with interest that I read this article today:  15 Tips to Boost Your Zoo Photography.

I wish I would have know all of this when I shot this photo of a racoon back in 2004.

This was great info re: taking photos at the zoo. I especially loved the one about taking a picture with the animal behind the wire fence. Seems my grandkids love that part of the zoo more where they can actually touch the animals instead of just viewing them at a distance. I would never have even given it a thought to get the wire part of the fence in the shade. Thanks so very much for sharing these great articles. Lady, you are a wealth of information and we all get to benefit from it thanks to your generosity of sharing.
