QR Code Greeting Cards
Many of you have asked about making greeting cards in Photoshop Elements. Some of you have been happy with your results, while others are looking for something different.
You might remember a few weeks ago I introduced ScrapPage Pro, (SPP)a unique software program, to you. Armed with your questions, I went to Dave, the creator of SPP, and asked him to show me what ScrapPage Pro can do in the card-making arena.
Here’s what he said:
Use your creative talents together with ScrapPage Pro to make a beautiful greeting card in just a few minutes. And make them even more unique and personal by linking your cards to webpages created with ScrapPage Pro by using a QR Code (or a URL).
Here is a sample card made with ScrapPage Pro
Cover and Inner Fold:
If you have a QR Code reader on your phone, aim it at the QR Code on the image above and watch the linked webpage jump into action.
If you don’t have a QR Code reader on your mobile device, free QR Code readers are available on the Apple App Store (for iPhone and iPad) and on Google Play for the Android platforms
Watch this video to see how easy it is to make greeting cards in ScrapPage Pro:
And this video shows how to make the web page that it links to:
You can download a jpg of the sample card here.
And don’t forget that for a limited time through Snickerdoodle Designs, you can get ScrapPage Pro for $29.95, a $10 savings off of the regular price.
I think giving a greeting card with a QR Code is a VERY cool thing! I am interested in knowing what you think about this! Please share your thoughts in the Comments section!
