I have become a total fan of sidewalk Chalk Art. Check out my Sidewalk Chalk Pinterest board for some fun ideas and great ways to keep your kids, grandkids (or perhaps you) busy during these beautiful Spring days! I’ve pinned money-making ways to make the chalk or paint yourself, some games, and also artistic ideas for both fun and photo ops!
Becoming so obsessed with sidewalk chalk art, I had to re-release Chalk It Up, a kit designed with the fun of sidewalk chalk in mind. It is perfect to use when scrapping the photos of your artistic endeavors.
I would love to see what you do with something you learn from the Pinterest Board, or a layout you create using Chalk It Up.
We haven’t had a fun Give-Away in a While. Let’s have one now! Post your Chalk It Up layouts on my Facebook page, or in the my Gallery at The Digichick. Then comment here to let me know where you’ve posted. On April 30th, I will have a drawing, and a winner will be chosen at random to receive a Collection of their choice from by store.
Chalk it up is available at SnickerdoodleDesigns and The Digichick.
Here is some layout inspiration from the amazingly talented gals at The Digichick!
And Kabra, from my own team created this layout, which she turned into a Quick Page for you!

I hope to see some of your own sidewalk chalk art and layouts soon!
Have fun!!
OMGoodness what an awesome idea! I shared your pin on Facebook. Danny would have a blast playing with chalk like this. We will have to wait though, we got snow today! LOL I love this kit. The colors are soooo much fun! Hugs, DeLoris
Yes! When it gets a little warmer here, I am going to make some for our grandson too! Thanks for sharing! I appreciate it!

The quickpage is fantastic. I don’t usually like a black background but this kit just pops on a black background! Thank you for the freebie. I may have to go looking for chalk pictures.
Thanks, Steph!
Love this QP. Thanks so much. My granddaughter Catherine and her friends love sidewalk chalk and especially love making their hopscotch in various colors. If I can catch them without getting a blurry picture I will when they do it again once we have some nice dry weather for them to be able to do their sidewalk art.
I’ll look forward to that, Carol. Be sure to check out that Pinterest link for inexpensive ways to make your own sidewalk chalk!
Thanks so much for the freebie Karen, this kit is just adorable. I was oogling in the shop yesterday.
Love, love, love, this kit. The colors and elements lend themselves to more than just layouts about sidewalk art…gorgeously colored art journal pages come to mind. 🙂
Thank you, Kay. Yes, it would be perfect for art journaling too! Great idea!
Oh my goodness! You couldn’t have picked a better time for this kit. I’m going to the Kayenta Arts Festival in Utah in two weeks. Sidewalk chalk artists from all over the country come to draw. I can’t wait to use the kit with my photos!
Oh, I’m so excited for you that you get to go there. That will be fantastic!!! I can’t wait to see your pages!!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful QP — My little GD is always outside drawing with her chalks, so I have a ton of pictures! I normally don’t use QPs, but this one is stunning! I’m sure I have a photo that would look great with this. Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks, Pam! I’m glad you will find it helpful!
Beautiful! Thanks so much! 🙂
