I received a text from our daughter-in-law this week that caused me to start thinking about father-daughter relationships.  We all know how important they are.

As I pondered this subject, I came across an excellent article: The Importance of the Father-Daughter Relationship.  

As women, if we didn’t have a strong, positive relationship with our own father, we can encourage our husband’s to have it with our daughters, or granddaughters; and our sons to have it with their daughters.

I think Ella, our nearly 3-year old granddaughter, has a great start, and I am so grateful to and proud of our son, Brian, for being that positive influence in her life.
