Monday Inspiration by Beatrice: Harvest Sunset
As much as I love summer, I’m always happy when fall arrives with cooler temperatures and changing colors. SnickerdoodleDesigns has quite a few collections that will work perfectly for scrapping your favorite fall photos! Here are just a few of my favorites: Painted Autumn, Apple of My Eye, You Are My Sunshine, and Pumpkin Patch.
It’s Monday, and today I’m here to show you some gorgeous layouts using one of my favorite SnickerdoodleDesigns collections, Harvest Sunset. In honor of this blog post, the Harvest Sunset Collection and all the separates are available at special pricing for a limited time at SnickerdoodleDesigns and theDigichick!

This page design, Sunset by Bright Eyes, reflects the movement in the photo. I really like the curvy border and the cascade of leaves down the edge. The corner cluster is large and beautifully shadowed. The photo journal card she used is so pretty and the quote serves as the journaling, in line with the theme of the page.
The photos in Deanna’s page, Sunset, are gorgeous and work expertly with the collection. She also used a template by Akizo Designs. I really like the horizontal flow of the stitched-down papers. The clusters are so pretty. I especially love the way she added the bird. The psalm she chose as her journaling is perfect for her page.
The photo in Pumpkin Jamming by franlk is so adorable. I love the way she masked it and added it to the papers. The cluster down the right-hand side is gorgeous. I like the way she tucked in the fox. There are so many darling elements in this collection. If you are in the mood for a quick scraplift, this collection comes with borders which would be a great start to your page.
I really like the blended paper, included in the collection, that Kabra chose for her background in Life is Good. The quote she selected for her journaling is perfect for her photo. The little bit of lace she added to the corner of her page adds dimension, and placing the clusters in opposite corners directs the eye diagonally across the page.
The selective framing in HH Sunset by mocamom is amazing. Her masked photo blends seamlessly with the paper found in the kit. I like the way she added just a bit of sparkle and only a few of the kit elements. Her quote is perfect and typing it in orange makes it stand out from the background.
I really like the pink tones in Sunset…my favorite color, by pixelpalette. She used just the coordinating mini from the November Use It All Challenge. Make sure to check the UIA challenge every month for coordinating free mini kits from SnickerdoodleDesigns. I like the masking and the chicken wire she added to the page. The journal card placed at an angle to the frame is a great touch. Finally, the scatters and cluster down the side complete the layout perfectly.
I’ve come to the end of my post and I hope I have inspired you. Don’t forget to check out the Harvest Sunset Collection while it’s still available at a special price. Thanks and have a great week.
