Monday Inspiration by Beatrice: Strawberry Lemonade

It’s Tuesday (instead of Monday this week) and my opportunity to feature some inspirational layouts on the blog. It’s summer in my part of the world and nothing says summer like strawberries and lemonade. It’s only natural that I would choose this collection for today’s post.

As always this collection is packed with everything you might need to create many summer layouts.

I just couldn’t resist this layout by Kabra, Perfectly Yummy. I’m noticing the four straws and wondering if I would be so ready to share. The angled, stacked papers are the perfect backdrop for the photo with its striped background. As always, Kabra has created an amazing cluster. I love the way she tucked in the spoon and straw and placed them at a slight tilt from the papers. The large bow added opposite balances the cluster. The fonts she chose for her sticker-title compliment one another perfectly.

I like this simple page, Bugsy, by Scraptious. The diamond design is very creative. She also used a template by JoCee Designs. I like the combination of raised and cut-out words for the title. The diamonds really show off the mix of patterned and solid papers.  Finally the small clusters, each with the same red flower, complete her layout perfectly.

The photo in Strawberry and Lemonade by jillybean really shines. I would love to have a garden that grows lemons and oranges. As the artist mentions in her layout post this is a timeless kit, one that never goes out of style. I like the way she offset the papers and created a vertical cluster down the side. The lemons across the bottom are perfectly shadowed and support her theme.  I like the way she sprinkled the word art all about the page to serve as her title and journaling.

I love how Glori limited the palette in Special Gift.  She also used a template by Heartstrings Scrap Art . I really like the lifted corners on the photo and the way the arrows point there. Using the lace border on just two sides is a great design idea and the vertical be-ribboned cluster is so delicate and pretty exactly as the hand-made gifts. She created the perfect spot for her title using the brushwork behind to make it stand out. The heart scatter adds a finishing touch to her page.

I’ll finish off my post with this lovely page by Chrissy, Sunshine. She combined the collection with You Are My Sunshine to create this stunning artsy page. I love the floral mask she used to frame the adorable photo. I like the way she reduced the size of some of the papers yet kept her clusters large and gorgeous. I love the dots of paint she applied to the background. The red really pops. Finally I enjoyed reading her heartfelt journaling.

This beautiful freebie just came across in my feed so in case you missed the blog post yesterday. just click the image to grab the gorgeous desktops and timeline created by LiMa Inspirations.

And now I’ve really come to the end of my post and I hope I have provided you with some inspiration. If you live in the U.S. you may be celebrating the long holiday weekend. With that in mind I’ll say have fun, stay safe and I’ll see you next week.
