Logo Fun
Logos, although small graphics, can be really difficult to design. They need to say so much in such a little space!
You know those emails that go around and around the net? I received one this week, and I have no idea who originated it so can’t offer credit to the person who put this together. But I was so fascinated by the contents of this email, I am sharing it with you. Did you know about ANY of these? I didn’t! Not a single one.
These really put the pressure on, don’t you think?

I had a friend years ago laughingly say that Oil of Olay stands for oil of old lady. I got to thinking that that is probably true. The same thing happens with brand names and not just their logos. The PT in PT Cruiser stands for Personal Transportation. There is a town called Sag Harbor but “Sag Harbor” at Penney’s? Conservative styles for older women? You can figure it out. You never know…
Wow very creative minds designed these! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, I have never noticed any of these either. I love the tree with the gorilla and lioness too. I haven’t seen all of them but the ones I am familiar with I will now look at in a whole new lite !! Thanks for sharing .
I just love seeing the undiscovered in these Logos. Thanks for such a fun post.
Thanks for sharing, Karen! I love “hidden” things like this … I’m going to be looking at logos in a whole new way!
Kudos to the people who thought these up! I didn’t know about it either Karen! 😀 Thanks for sharing them. Hugs, Vicki
