Meet my Creative Team (CT)  Member, Norma! 

Norma has been on my CT for about 5 years, I think. Maybe 6. She was referred to me by another CT of mine, and I am so thankful she did!  

I asked Norma to tell us a little bit about herself, and this is what she had to say:

Hi! I’m Norma Keevers, aka, Yorkiemom or NormaK in the digital scrapbooking world.

I live with my husband of 37 years and we recently moved into my dream house on the Gulf in Tarpon Springs, Florida. We do not have any children together, and no pets at this time; but I do have 3 stepchildren who are enjoying their own lives. Both my husband I work from home (me part time) so it gives me lots of spare time for my hobbies; one of which is digital scrapbooking – of course! 

I started scrapping when a friend introduced me to the digital world. I think that was at least 10 years ago. I had never been a paper scrapper, but fell in love with designing scrapbook pages with all the beautiful kits available.

I started CT’ing about 5 years ago and it’s been so much fun creating beautiful pages with my lifetime of photos. I get inspired by other scrapbook pages , which in turn makes me think outside the box and be more creative myself.

I like the traditional way of creating a page, but lately, I have delved into the artsier visual look! I love that. And I have a few large canvas hangings in my home to prove it. I don’t think I have a favorite style as I like both.

I enjoy being on a CT team, first because I get to work with such inspired designers and make their kits come alive; and second, it’s an outlet for me to keep my creative juices flowing and my brain working. I’m always trying to better my pages. I get a lot of inspiration from others too.

I have made a lot of friends in the digital world around the world. That’s a plus.

I don’t really have an all-time favorite scrapbook page though ones with family are at the top of my list. I love to use my camera and get out there and have fun…and then create lovely pages with those photographs.

I absolutely love the most recent layout Norma created for me. She used my new Alpha Templates and my Color Outside the Lines Kit. I love the artsy look Norma gave this page, the way she used the colors, and the fact that she used photos of herself on this page.

As I have been looking through the pages Norma has created for me as a CT, I do have to agree with her… it IS hard to choose a favorite, and like her, I don’t know if I can. Let me rephrase that. I can’t.  There are just so many that resonate with me in different ways.

One thing I can agree with Norma on is this…. when she works with my products, she does, indeed, them come alive!
