The photo in this layout by Norma is precious. I really like the way she both masked and then partially framed it. By adding the clusters in opposite corners, she helps the eye to take in the entire page. The large cluster composed of scissors, brushes and pencils supports her theme.

The story told by this layout is truly inspiring. I cannot imagine the time and love poured into this craft. Choosing the blues from the Collection really makes the tree photo pop. I like the way the artist combined the photo of the tree with the smaller close-up of the angel so we can really take a good look at her art. Her vertical design is so pretty and the title-work elegant and fitting for her theme.

This traditional page by Linda is just charming. The burlap background adds texture and offsetting the paper stack is a creative technique. The rustic tree is one of my favorite elements in the kit. The cluster across the bottom is gorgeous and beautifully shadowed. The ball fringe is the perfect foundation for it.

It’s not often that I show one of my own pages but I love the story behind this one. I also used a template by Akizo Designs. Growing up, most of our gifts were hand-crafted. Both my mother and grandmother were wonderful seamstresses. In these photos, my sister and I show off doll clothes, felt stockings and puppets. The page design in the wreath format, thanks to the template, shows off all the adorable kit elements. I like the striped red border and all the paint spatters too.

This page by Chrissy showcases such a happy photo. I like the way she placed it at an angle and poured all the elements out from the corner of the photo. She created an entirely different look by backing the tree with the foliage. Placing the elements atop the tree makes them look like ornaments. Her corner clusters, linked by one of the kit borders, are so pretty. Her title work is just adorable. I like how she incorporated the single, tiny red flower.

I can’t believe another year has come and gone. I want to wish everyone who celebrates a wonderful holiday season. A big thanks to SnickerdoodleDesigns for her gorgeous designs, the artists who create such beautiful pages and to the readers who follow along most Mondays as I write about them. I hope you have a creative week and I’ll be back to inspire you in 2019.

And, as promised, here is an adorable cluster gift for you, created by CTM Kabra,  using Handmade Christmas. Click on the image below to download.
